ABSTRACT

Objective Tofacilitatetheradiologiststoinquireinformationrelatedtobreastdiseasesandimprovetheefficiencyand accuracyofsearchingdata.Methods Inthispaper,amultilevelstrategyhybridquestion-and-answermodelwasusedtodesignanautomatic question-and-answersysteminthefieldofbreastdiseasesimaging.Thefirstlayerofthismodelwasthequick matchingofquestion sentencesandFAQknowledgebase.Thesecondlayerwastoobtaintheanswersinthebasicknowledgebaseaccordingtothethresholdsetby processingthequestionsandcalculatingthesimilarityofthequestions.Thethirdlayerwastoacquiretheanswerparagraphfromthe webdocumentreturnedbythefull-textsearchengine.Results Thetestresultsshowedthattheaccuracyofthesystemansweracquisitionreached 85%.Thesystemcouldgivesatisfactoryanswerstotheproblemsexistingintheknowledgebase.Conclusion Theintelligentquestion answeringsystemforbreastdiseaseisconvenientandfast,anditisaneffectivetoolforradiologiststoinquiretheknowledgeofbreast diseases.

ABSTRACT

Objective To present a medical image transmission scheme based on fast healthcare interoperability resources(FHIR) proxy gateway which can enable medical personnel to access the hospital's medical imaging system via the Internet using mobile terminals,and then raise the medical staffs' working efficiency.Methods RESTful WebServices as the interoperability mechanism of image data was used in combination with FHIR image resource model and construct an intermediate gateway to three-tier network architecture,in order to solve the problem of transmitting image data to mobile terminals through gateway via the hospital's network.Results During its half-year trial run,the Internet mobile terminal reading system based on this method ran stably and was in good condition,in the actual hospital environment.Conclusion The gateway method is simple,flexible,and can fully support the mobile terminals' access to the background image data center.

ABSTRACT

Objective To resolve the problem of sharing and storing medical images and diagnostic reports among different hospitals and to help primary health care institutions to obtain the technical supports from a major hospital in a large city for the improvement of medical imaging diagnosis.Methods The paper utilizes the existing parallel and distributed technology of cloud computing and the cloud storage virtualization to design a regional image service platform,which provides computing,storage and software services to users.In addition,the design of medical image flie accessing system (MIFAS) further raise the performance of storage and access for medical image.Results The trial results showed that the medical image file accessing system had run in the actual hospital environmental for a few months with stable and good application effect.Conclusion The proposed system can improve the stability and reliability of medical imaging storage,transmission and further improve the level of medical imaging diagnosis in primary health care institutions.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To ensure the integrity、non-repudiation、authenticity of pictures and relevent messages by making a digital signature for a DICOM file. Methods: By using OpenSSL toolkits and dcmsign of DCMTK toolkits, make a digital sig nature for the relevent messages of DICOM medical image and then save it behind of the DICOM file. Results: We can evaluate integrity、non-repudiation、authenticity of pictures and relevent messages in the DICOM file which has been made a digital signature. Conclusion: To make a digital signature in a DICOM file by using the OpenSSL toolkits and dcmsign of DCMTK toolkits can realize the security when DICOM file transported in remote medical treatment and PACS.

ABSTRACT

Digital Imaging Communications in Medicine(DICOM) was brought forward by ACR and NEMA to solve the joining problem of medical equipment. It is a public international standard now. Using DICOM in teleradiology is very important, especially for China. In this paper the authors analyze the contents and specialty of DICOM and make comments on how to use it in teleradiology and picture access and communication system(PACS).

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of transmitting a high definition video stream of medical images at a narrowband network.Methods The medical images and operation instructions were transmitted in a separate way, and the video streams were reconstructed by executing operations.Results The bidirectional transmitting model and the unidirectional transmitting model were designed. Both of them did well at a narrowband network.Conclusion Transmitting a high definition video stream of medical images at a narrowband network can be done based on the reappearing of operational order.

ABSTRACT

Objective To resolve the sharing of the images which are dispersed in multiple mini-PACS in one hospital or in the distributed PACS in the different hospitals.Methods The grid technology and the medical image network were integrated to research some key technologies on a medical image storage grid.Results Basing on the services provided by grid and considering the hospital's situation,two layers architecture of storage grid that was adapted with the sharing character of the medical information were put forward.Using the services provided by the storage grid,the dynamic storage extension was realized.Conclusion The medical image storage grid can integrate multiple storage systems in the image network.It supports the effective usage of the storage system and transparent accessing for users.

ABSTRACT

Objective To solve the new problems for quality assurance of PACS which imported by the use of PACS.Methods The medical imaging quality control system used between imaging modality and image acquisition gateway was designed.Results The medical imaging quality control system could partially solve the problem for quality assurance of PACS.Conclusion With the use of medical image quality control system,wrong or low quality image can be found and modified earlier.Therefore,the veracity of medical information and medical image of PACS can be improved farther.

ABSTRACT

Objective With the consummation of the medical insurance system, the working of medical insurance gets more and more important in the management of hospital. How to establish scientific and reasonable index of ration becomes one of the emphases and difficulty. Methods By using the data mining technology, the index of ration in medical treatment insurance system is constituted and the related dates are analyzed too. Results The technology of data mining can be made the dynamic index of ration, picked up the analysis feedback speed, as well as made promptly the analysis and recalls. Conclusion The technology of dates mining technology is introduced in quota management that will adapt the changes and challenges in the management of medical insurance.
